Saturday wanders..

The weather is starting to be kinder to us here in London & like many others I definitely wanted to take advantage of it. Coming from Malaysia, a lovely tropical climate, living in London comes with uncertainty in what the temperature will be & when there's a sunny day out who would want to spend it indoors.

Last Saturday, involved popping down to the Duke of York Square Market which is situated on Kings Road. I love going there as there is always a lot going on, full of people & yummy food to eat. Always, always come here with an empty stomach because I promise you there will be a variety of food to choose from & your mouth will be salivating.

On my way there, I went through Paddington Station & by the canal entrance there are a few canal boats that range from a secondhand bookshop to a handmade jewellery shop. Being myself I was so captivated by the used of the canal boat for other things. I just found it so cute :P

The rest of my day was spent running errands and some studying at night.

Fishy Valentine

Starting this blog & I'm already weeks behind but nonetheless here is one from a suprise double date dinner a day after Valentines. The restaurant we went to was Yashin Ocean House, with the tagline 'Head to tail', was a rather unusual and unique dining experience.

If you're familiar with the original branch Yashin Sushi & Bar , this is their sister branch which opened its doors September 2013.  The concept of this restaurant is a strictly seafood only, using almost every part of the seafood, and therefore there is no meat on the menu.
Tables are usually fully booked however they have a huge bar space which personally I prefer as I love observing the chefs at work preparing the dishes.

We had a few dishes that night which included yellowtail, octopus, tuna but my favourite was definitely the omakase sashimi with all the yummy toppings which was infused with lemon/orange mist.
Overall, i'd have to say I still prefer the original branch but that's just my opinion ;)!!

Are you ready for me?

After much procrastination and debate on whether I would start this blog, I have finally given in. I've followed so many blogs over the years that I felt I wanted to be part of the blogging family, however the only thing that has really made me delay the process, is the thought of no one reading it ... LOL (dont judge)

ANYWAYSSSS... heres a random picture of my ice cream (throwback to my Madrid trip) to make this post all prettified :)
